Cyber-bullying and Net Safety

Introduction: 

Cyber-bullying is a serious situation for our students today.  Children as young as age six are already using cell phones, email, and even social networking sites.  It is imperative that we as parents and educators work together in order to understand the implications of cyber-bullying and how to assist our children as they navigate this aspect of Twenty-first Century technology skills!  Watch the video below for a short description of cyber-bullying!

 
Objectives:
 ·Parents will define cyber-bullying.
 ·Parents will identify situations involving cyber-bullying.
 ·Parents will learn different techniques to handle cyber-bullying situations.
